    Jam 117 on a Pro1107ex

I have a customer with a Pro 1107ex that is giving frequent Jam code 117 jams. Service manual says "Output drive train (B830)" and Goose's Guide adds "Check stack feedout drive belt". Are they referring to the feedout belt for the stapler or the motor belt that drives the feedout belt?

i haven't seen this on an 1107ex, but I have seen on a couple other machines with the big finisher. I believe they are talking about the black belt, with the silver "U" shaped holder, that kicks out the finished stapled set. I have had a couple where the bracket for the home position sensor gets bent, ever so slightly, causing home position to be off a little bit & throw off the timing. I'm sure someone who has had this exact problem will chime in.
Do you have the cover imposer installed? I thought on the previous model, there was firmware for finisher jamming, whenever the interposer was installed??

If I remember correctly it's the tray stacker motor that's under powered and need to be replaced with a stronger one. Check bulletin RB830002a

      Parts are B8303128 and B8303111

No interposer. There is however a Plockmatic booklet maker.

This could be te problem. The thicker the document exitting, the fewer problems.

Problem solved. There are two small black bumper pads on the sides of the paper entry to the Booklet Maker. If these come off, the heads of the mount screws for the static brush on the finisher exit could it against the upper entrance guide of the Booklet Maker keeping the exit rollers from fully engaging.
