MP3350 Black copies with checks

Hi All,
I have a customer that has checks that are security coded, It comes out black when they copy or scan them
I know its a security feature but is there any way around it? I have tried to reduce them by 50% and in large them by 155%.

Don't know if the documents are scanned in color, but you can try to scan B/W. Don't think that you can switch it off.

It's part of the counterfeit detection: you can't turn it off, but Try doing just half of the cheque, or fold it diagonally so that the entire image doesn't show, but it has the information the customer needs visible. They may complain about the function being there, but it's for everyone's protection...

if you enlarge over 125% or reduce under 85% I think it will copy everything you need

what if you put a 'copy' stamp on it if the enlarge/reduce trick doesn't work?
