LOL, they're not quite that bad, I actually quite liked working on them, when I first moved to Ricoh it was like going back 20 years, I hadn't had to get my hands dirty like that in so long. Most of the Xerox machines I worked on had a lot of customer replaceable units, so little work for us to do, and hardly any need for dirty hands, then I joined Ricoh and started working on the Adonis range, it was quite a baptism of fire LOL

Ive worked on Ricohs only now for about twenty years , first worked on the original Mita's now they really were terrible - think you get very used to your own product in the end - and they just feel "right" - listen to us a couple of right old copier "techies" - LOL
I have been doing this job since early 1985, so I am pretty old
I really like working on Ricoh now, I think they are pretty good products (with a few issues, but wouldn't life be boring if we didn't have anything to make us think)

Im sure your not Debs (old I mean !) - Im 47 myself so I think that puts me definately in the old club LOL - I know what you mean - as I say ive worked freelance for the last 6 years and that brings its own set of problems - but we shouldnt complain its paid my mortgage for 25 years and thats quite important these days and youre right it keeps the old brain ticking over (although these days you can hear mine turning over)
