I cannot find instructions in the User Guide or the Service Manual. It has a supply product code so it should be user replaceable. The instructions are most likely printed on the PC Kit box. Target yield is 25,000 copies.

Did you replace it with a new PC Kit or did you take one out of another machine. Some machines use a new PC Kit detect to reset the message. If you install a PC Kit that has already been in another machine and the other machine has been powered up, it will no longer reset the replace message.

was it an aftermarket kit ??? did you look at the user tools / maintenance for a reset option????
