Good evening, I have recently been suffering from this machine overexposing when copying only. prints are great, have tried all sorts to no avail, this accompanied by a continual request for the density sensor to be cleaned. Have tried everything with this from unit replacement to deep cleaning and density adjustments available, have now reached the point where we will have to purchase the engine pcb, but would like to hear if any of outstanding engineers have had the faults resolved, many thanks for your time.

Don't bother ordering an engine board, these rarely fail. A slightly more drastic measure is to initialise the engine EPROM then do the line position and registration adjustments in service mode and user tools. Be aware though, this will zero the meters.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
