Nemmy: If I remember correctly, PS card goes in slot 2. (Slot 3 is for a
    service SD card.)

Nobody-Here: No way that I know of to check card (other than what you have done).

Sounds to me like someone ALREADY tried to copy the card, as this will cause it to be unusable, according to what I've heard (never tried to copy one, myself). Supposedly a little preventive feature that Adobe and
    Ricoh came up with.

    Regards

guten print cupsricoh SD cards can be cloned, fax, printer scanner, Adobe postscript, an so on. The only thing cloned with sucsses that I know of is Dolly and it worked with perfection.

Jomama46.... DSM ?? Wat does it mean??
I asked to Ricoh Italy (Italian Ricoh Branch) Technicians and Salesman and they say... Buy a new PS card.

          to others....
If you read the SD card does not look crypeted..(I can read some files)
I can read it but i did not tried to copy it.... I don't think I can damage it with a simple copy... the problem is that I think It won't work... too easy to avoid buying new ones.....

            Maybe: Dealer Service (sales) Manager
            but it can also be:
Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Then you're not thinking correctly. Copy protection schemes are all the rage now.
I have never tried it but my point was, if it doesnt work anyway, give it a shot.
DSM is your Ricoh sales contact.

For Guten Print Drivers, I think you can generate a PXLmono driver PPD by going here OpenPrinting database - Driver: pxlmono and use it...
(i think but I am not sure....)
It worked for me with a MPC2500 and a MP2000...and then use it

I dont think they will sell you one direct. You'll have to contact a dealer. Or someone who buys from a dealer.

i tried the gutenprint drivers posted earlier but they dont have support for the printer im using (Ricoh Aficio 2238C) so i guess my only other option is to get the PS card...
