    no ping and webinterface when offline

    Correction

    Hi

    Customer has a problem with the network-connection.
    After printing 2 files it goes ofline !!?

    when pulling out/in the UTP cable it works for another 2 pages and then
    again it goes ofline . . .

    Haven't made the visit yet, but any ideas here . .?

        I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Try connesting your laptop with a crossover cable and see if it works properly. If it does, try moving another printer to that location. If you get the same problem, the most likely cause is the port on the switch. My customer finally replaced the 32 port switch and no more problems.

            Ask the network admin if the IP-adress of the MP C2050 is in the lease list of the DHCP-server. Is that's the case, the DHCP-server can assign the IP-adress of the printer to another device on the network, and then you have two of the same IP-adresses on the subnet and that causes conflicts.

            As stated above, connecting the machine to a laptop will show if the problem is related to the machine or the network.
