    sp1000sf faint copies

sp1000sf faint copies! Printouts are also faint but copies are a bit more faint, stripped scanner cleaned but still not fixed, what can be the problem? Any settings or adjustments that i can try first? (Befour I strip again and try cleaning the laser unit)
Anyone have problems with dusty laser units on this model?

First, I wouldnt think it would have anything to do with the scanner, not only because dirty optics would cause a dirty copy but prints have nother to do with scanning.
Secondly, printing something from memory, like interanl test print or lists
If they are light, look at the glass between the laser and the drum, dirt here will equal light copies

Try taking the all-in-one toner out and giving it a shake side-to-side a few times.

First thing I did, was to try another toner unit, SAME THING, faint.

I've done very little on this model but there only so many things it could possibly be.

          See attached.
