Ricoh Aficio 3245c - Config page shows false low toner with new toner

Hello everyone,

I have a Ricoh Aficio 3245c that shows low toner on the config page after putting in new toner. Only one bar appears on the page. This is happening with all toners. Sometimes the bars go to full but after an hour os so go back to one bar. I tried replacing the controller and it did not change the toner levels.

Any help is much appreciated!!

I faced the same problem with black toner and it was original all I did is shake the battle many times and it worked well

The toner cartridge has a memory chip. The machine writes the total 'on' time of the toner supply clutch to the memory chip. If the values on the memory chip are inconsistent, you can get false readings on the config page.
