    Aficio 200 blank & unresponsive op panel

    Got an Aficio 200 that the customer says has a blank control panel. They are unable to copy or send faxes, but they can still print and receive faxes. I checked the operation switch and cycled the power, checked fuses and reseated connectors. I'm guessing (and hoping) it's the control panel so we can use the "unavailable parts" to get some newer equipment in there. Anyone seen this on this dinosaur?
    the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.

      Goose guide says to replace SBU.

                  Gooses Guide is a massive collection of oddball problems and fixes that have been submitted from the field. I have a hard copy from about two years ago when I was still gainfully employed.

                  With this issue, SBU or op panel would both be likely suspects. We used to have a boat load of those turkeys out and we had blank displays that were caused by both. I may have been one of the guys who submitted the SBU solutions, as a matter of fact.

                  Anyway, I would try the unavailable part deal as the termination of parts availability was January, 2007
