    [Misc] Anyone else familiar with Gelsprinters?

    Just curious about what you think of this:

    I worked on the Lanier LD215cp for a while, which if my translation table is accurate is the same as the Ricoh 615C. If the machine arrived at the customer site in good shape, and the person running the it wasn't insane, it seemed to be a pretty reliable little machine. But damage from rough handling while in transit was a little* expensive.

    So I hope the print engine of the new machines are somewhat more durable. Or at least there are the proper piece parts available for field replacement.

    I've worked on some of the older 1's, the 3050's. Hated the FPOS's. Viscus ink turns to glue, head cleaning drains the cartridges...........
