Hi guys,

Anyone has problem configure window 8 SMB scanning in ricoh color machine ?

I have enable the sharing ; lower password encryption and put local admin password in share folder but it always show error cannot find specific path..

Anyone can advise?

This is a known issue. The 8.1 update is also known by Microsoft to break SMB functionality. The fix is supposed to be available in the November patch Tuesday rollout. Overall though, firmware updates are needed as Windows 8 uses a higher level of the SMB protocol than even Windows 7 did meaning that again firmware updates will need to come from Ricoh. The current core samba package for Unix and Linux both support SMB3 now so it's just a matter of getting the right configuration files into a firmware packet.
