Touch panel MP5500

Guys is the touch panel for the MP5500 the same as for the MPC2500? If no, what are the respective parts numbers please?

MP5500 touch panel part is B223-1488
MPC2000, etc, touch panel part is B223-1494 (changed to B223-1484)

... according to the parts catalogues, however these could have been updated since.

Not that I have heard, perhaps they have it confused with the MPC1800 (LCD screen).

There were two sizes for the touch panels during the touch panel replacement program. The smaller one for the B%W (also fit some of the older color with small screen) and the larger for the color. Basicly speaking, if the size of the dsiplay panel is the same, the touch panel is the same. Ricoh is known for having different part numbers for the same part on different machines. Usually means that the supplier is different.

OK, now I am really confused. Question is about the touch panel for the MP5500 with the Ricoh part #B2231488. A colleague of mine told me that one could use the touch panel for the MPC2500/3500 (I have no part #) as well, but warned me that there are two versions "Large" and "Small". I'm no Ricoh tech (you may have noticed already.....) so what is your opinion please?
