So... What have you tried? Cleared copier memory? Checked HDD / memory?

All of the above. Please note. The device has a copy track attached. Ricoh Tech support says that this is normal that the "new Job" key will not appear when a card reader, key counter is installed. However, we have 4 MP 6001 all at this one Client, all configured the same, all with copytrack , All 4 showed the "new Job" key a along. 3 of them still do. This 1 stopped displaying it during copying last week. no service called caused this. we thought the client must have changed a setting, hence all the function resets to check. We have compared the SMC reports, all the same. same firmware level (current as of last week)same configurationtried diff controller, nvram, hard drive, old firmware,

Try SP 5113-1 set to 1, SP 5113-2 set to 0. I lost the button on a Pro1357EX and this worked for that model. Don't know if that machine even has same SP modes but you could give it a look
