Ricoh 3035 image quality problem

I just changed the pcu (opc,blade,developer) after some printing the density of the contrast black is getting lighter.And after 200/300 pages it give me message of out of toner but in the bottle there is more then half toner.
I think i checked evertyhing
-the toner bottle motor is working.
-toner goes in development unit.
-the bias from developer is ok too.
-cleaned the toner hopper/unit.
-no sc on machine.
Any ideeas what can be the problem ?

Oem parts and toner?
TD sensor?

OEM parts all ! i was thinking about td sensor but i don't know,it give's sc if it is not working.

Check your logging data. Some SC's won't show up on the panel. They're only logged.

By your description of going into add toner condition, it sounds like the td sensor is doing its job.
Just some ideas to check:
Have you tried to force toner supply through sp? if that doesent tone it back up, your problem is most likely within the toner supply part of things.

Have tried to test the toner bottle motor (with the bottle installed) to see if you can hear the bottle turning?
Sometimes there is too much friction in the hopper and will make it stall or not turn at all.

The next thing you could check is to see if the plastic (flappers) that are glued to the bottle drive cup have come off ( very common ), some people actually use a small screw and reattach them so the never come off again.

Clean the toner build up off the dev roller. Check the dev bearings are not shot and there is no staples or paper clips jambed in dev unit around the doc blade. Clean the bias connect tab and check that it makes contact in the machine.

I have also had the pin on the toner tray that open the toner drop break off.

The pin from toner tray is not broken,inside the toner unit nothing is broken(mylars,seals)when i force toner from sp mode the quallity it is increasing a little bit but it is not dark black like it should be, after couple of pages it becomes lighter again.I will go searching in dev unit next couple of hours.

Problem solved, the wire to the toner motor was detached and made contact on main frame iron, thats why the motor didnt work all time.

Just a random question , you did run dev initialize when you replaced dev - have also had a long print run exit before I had a chance to initialize new dev which sent td sensor all over the place

Yes, i did initialize the developer also id sensor,the developer bag its mixed with a little toner inside so the copier was working until td sensor was trying to add toner inside.

Glad you found that, when you have pinched wires, or wires rubbing against a frame,etc. that cause intermittent problems, they are tough to find sometimes.

The Motor had 16/18v instead 24v so it was confused becouse sometimes it adds toner inside and trick me to suspect all other things.I belive the detached wires was the + and made short circuit.Thx for replays and good luck on next problem.
And sorry for my english, im more used to technical words then write.

I now disconnect the network cable before turning the machine back on. Had too many instances of what you mention.
