Ricoh W2400 SC300

I have a customer with one of these machines that had thrown a SC300 code which is related to the charge corona unit. The copies are intermittent, showing background one week and another clear copies. Originally I thought it may have had bad developer until it popped the 300 code. The meter is12559 metres. It seemed not so easy from the manual to me to convert this into the number of copies. Any help and ideas will be appreciated

I don't have any experience on wide format. On the Pro 907EX, 1107EX and 1357EX, SC 300 can be caused by toner buildup in the charge corona.

Replace your charge and grid wires, 4 grid wires, 1 charge wire.

Charge corona needs service. Either replace the assembly or change Charge wire & grid. Make sure you clean the corona casting to remove all the cloudiness to it. Corona should shine. I usually use an SOS pad and plenty of water.

One more thing, if you are not familiar with this machine you should also change the charge cleaner wire pads as they need to be removed to clean the assembly.
