[Misc] LD425C double feed in bypass

I have replaced sep assembly and tension spring, during sep assembly replacement all areas of bypass unit looked proper. the bypass will pull five sheets or more at a time consistently, any suggestions would be apriciated.

....try a different ream of paper???....change paper orientation...lengthwise vs crosswise???

Sounds like the separation roller torque limiter might have failed or might not be installed correctly.
I guess something that prevents the proper pressure between the feed and sep rollers could cause that, too. As it sounds like you had that part of the machine disassembled you should probably check this first before you replace any parts.
