    [Error Code] MPC 6501

    Hello Folks,

    i have a MPC6501. Who makes First a. SC 550 and later a SC 542 ( 542 its not in the Service Manual ).

    I changed the complet Fusing Unit and i have the Same Problem.

    Does any One has any Ideas ?

    power supply but id check that there's no paper or tiny scrap of paper behind the fuser connector before ordering any boards.

      Hello,

      the Connectors are clean.

      The 4 Heating Lamps are o.k. But i have Not enough Heat.

      i think the Problems comes from any Board.

        SC 542 is a thermistor error. Did you reset the the fusing unit code with SP5810? Just replacing a defective fusing unit part will not clear the code unless you reset it.

          Yes i have reset it a couple of times with 5810 and 7807.........

              Unit which i had in my Car for a couple of days during cold weather conditions while
              the car is standing outside.

              So the fuser was very cold when i installed it.
              One of the Thermistors shut of because of the temperatur
              difference.
              I only had to push ut back in normal Position.
