    [Misc] Ricoh Aficio 3035

I work for a charity and we have just been donated a Ricoh Aficio 3035. I am trying to set this up on our network but there does not seem any network settings. There is a lan card installed and the lan lights up when you turn the machine on, but then the lights go off after a few seconds. I have logged in using admin username and it says I am logged in but cannot find network settings anywhere. can anyone help?

    Thanks.

The network port is standard, however the accessories to enable printing/scanning aren't.

    A couple of questions:
    - Does it have "printer and scanner" buttons below the 'copy' button?
    - The network settings (If installed) would be under 'User tools' / 'system settings'/ 'Interface settings'/etc.
    - There is a small narrow metal cover with 1 screw above the network port on the machine. There are 3 SD card slots underneath it. The top one (C1) should have a printer/scanner card installed. (there is also a memory dimm required to be installed on the controller board, but this is a good start)
    - If you don't have any/all of the above, you don't have printing / scanning capability. If you do, it may need to be enabled in service mode

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. These are the only ports It has installed. The machine has 2 buttons: Copy and Scan. Would it be possible to purchase the print kit for this? Is it worth it?

      Thanks.

        This is what you'd need.

Is it worth it to you? Bear in mind these things are filthy buggers too. They take a fair bit of looking after, regular vac outs etc. On-time replacement of certain PM parts and OEM toner are a must. Maintain it well and it'll run happier.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

Yes, contact one of our Ricoh offices for a quote on price. I think this machine is still worth for a print kit.
