The machine works perfectly.
Only thing is that while copying,display dims black.
Display works good othervise.
Its like while fuser is on,display lacks voltage or something....

Sounds like tiny fluro lamp in your LCD display (part no B1881435) is about to give up the ghost. I've seen this a couple of times, i would be replacing that first to see if the proble still occurs. The next modles (MP5500-MP6000) along included a inverter but ive seen the LCDs go of these as well.

You might also want to monitor the line voltage coming into the machine. Low line voltage can cause all sorts of problems.

There might be a knob on the left hand side of the op panel that if you rotate it clockwise might brighten up the display.

Display is lit up OK
When you make copys it darkens.And is OK again when job ends.
I can make it readable if I turn the knob while copying is in progress
But afterwards is all white...

Can't really see this as a problem, who wants to look on a copiers display when copying?
