    mixed jobs in the output

    Howdy everybody,

We have an MP 171 aka Savin 917sp that was just installed at a nurses station at a med.provider Its network connected for scan & print. The unresolved problem is that it prints out print jobs interleaved in the middle of multipage fax reception. This is a bad thing as all these documents get into the wrong hands.
We have explored all manuals. The only fix we see is to lock or hold the print jobs which is not acceptable to the users. Thoughts anybody?

Shame, if it was a larger machine (e.g. C2000, etc) you could have set it to rotate the faxes from a landscape tray. You could try either fax to email, if they have an exchange server, or add different coloured paper to the bypass tray and set the fax to print from that instead of tray 1. If they have a second tray, then use that instead of the bypass.
