[Misc] ITB belt for MP C4502

Does anyone know if the ITB belt for the MP C4501, D0296090, can be used on the MP C4502. The part catalog for the MP C4502 only shows the entire unit. The service manual does however show how to remove the belt.

Yes I have swapped out the whole ITB unit....just swapped the grey handles so the colors would match....I am sure if you just wanted to the swap the belt alone it would work fine.

Last 4502 i had tore the ruber stip off the ITB and screwed up the alignment i just replaced the whole unit D1446011. i guess if your going to try a belt might be worth it, but if your going to replace it completely why not just get the correct part listed just in case.

Now if anyone finds a way to get the fusers swapped then i would be on board with that i hate the 4502 fusers.

I had put a parts request in to Ricoh on this. Two days ago they answered that it cannot be replaced separately. Today I got an updated response. The part catalog has just been updated and now the belt is available under part number D1446091. Of course, we had already ordered the belt unit and has already been shipped.

I carry that belt in the car, it is backwards compatible with all MPC's back all the way to MPC2500

We use the printer version from the SPC820DN. comes complete with cleaning unit. Swapping the handles and plates on top as appropiate and removing a green knob from the front.

Dont take my word for it but company says these are cheaper than ITB units for specific machines.

Would it also be forward compatible with the MP C3003-3503-4503-5503-6503? I just got through downloading the latest version of that PC and it now has the belt in it. Part number D1496097. I also downloaded the latest PC for MP C4502.

Havn't tryed one in a xxx3 series yet. The xxx3 is the first time we have seen a substantial change in the itb design, so im not sure.
