RICOH MP C3000 touch/display off

Greetings all, I have the following problem on a ricoh mp c3000 has switched off the touch screen, but the rest looks like it works indicates an error code that I can not see, to say that I already tried to replace the entire assembly keyboard without solving the problem, you ask, could be the power supply board? thanks

If you can shine a light on the screen at JUST the right angle you may be able to see the code.

I had the same fault on a similar colour machine.

I had error code SC220 (no backlight on lcd screen, looked like it was completely off but you could just about see the display when looking at an angle)

Service manual indicated a faulty laser mirror motor which i replaced.

this however didn't solve the fault and I ended up changing the BICU board as per Ricoh's instructions.

Faulty polygon and BICU, always replace as a pair for this fault. You can also try repairing the BICU, it is only one or two resistors that blow.

Common problem, as Ruben has said, replace the polygon mirror motor and BICU at the same time, if you can get onto the WIM you'll see it's showing either SC202 or SC204 (I can't remember which)

Have you done this before? I currently have the BICU board I replaced for this fault in storage and it would be great if I could repair it and keep it for emergencies.
Can you provide any more details regarding which resistors etc.
If you have repaired the board, has the fault come back within a short time?

I have not, but there are some pictures around here somewhere.

Did you replace them at the same time, or did you put the new BICU in first? If the latter, you have damaged the new BICU.

It would be worth checking connections to the laser unit. just in case something is loose.

changing laser mirror motor then BICU should of solved that error code.

I changed all the laser unit but I made a mistake as he said Ruben, I changed before the BICU without changing the laser unit with the result that the laser old / broken ruined even the new BICU for more now tells me SC 995 and also I need to change the fuse on the R59 IOB as I exchanged a controller with a mp of mp c3000 C2500 thanks anyway aid

do not know the resistance to change on the BICU, Ruben says that somewhere on the portal there but I turned around and I did not find, I found the fuse to be replaced on the IPB - R 59

Are you saying that you've changed the fuse and have been able to continue using the same BICU board?
