    Manual notes multiple possibilities. I suspect the PCU.

      Usual suspect is the PCU. Replace them both though, they have a habit of failing as a pair.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
