Hi guys/girls

Im a new member but been working in trade for 20 odd years mostly ricoh
I installed this above machine in Aug this year been out to it for various problems
ADF wont Feed, Paper jamming and finally pink line on edge off copies which i
had to change the magenta PCDU ( Only 330 print colour max) they run an Aficio 1515
for years no probs but wanted to update to a colour A4 machine am i right in thinking that the latest
kit coming out of Ricoh is crap these machines just look so fragile. !!!

Ricoh uses more plastic parts in their new machines to reduce the weight. I haven't had serious problems with them. Maybe you just had bad luck with this one.

Hi guys,
I have an MPC305SPF that is intermittently asking for yellow toner even though it is over half full.
There is also excess yellow toner inside the machine.
You mention defective toner hoppers and toner boards, is this a common fault? If so what is the fix please?

Faulty yellow hopper, faulty cyan hopper, faulty yellow drum, faulty high voltage board behind hoppers, faulty laser registrations, etc. Do not buy any more of these machines, you will lose money.

Check for a broken toner dispensing auger, or maybe poor toner cartridge contacts...( it is not so bad to build some more experience with this rat trap!! It has everything you can see worn,bent,broken,faulty,burned....)

Unfortunately most latest engines seem to appear pretty "cheap production" like - not much fun working with the stuff anymore. But if your honest it's not just a Ricoh phenomenon since most brands try cutting costs and prices.
