Had a 2503 conk out after less than a week in the field. I had the chart on the lights, which really doesn't help a lot as it has you replacing a lot of boards. I talked to the hotline and they mentioned some preliminary finding also showed that the HDD could cause this issue as well. It didn't matter in my case and I had to order boards.

I believe the BCU was the culprit in my case. It is very small for this machine and the color of the board that showed up was totally different from the one in the machine. Swapped them and got the machine going again. Have not had issues since.

Just had SC672-11 on a brand new MP5045 caused by not moving the fax jumper at run up.

Had the same issue on a MPC4503. Seemed to throw code after machine went into sleep mode and sat for awhile. Replacing print controller fixed issue.

I have seen this code in the -53 and -54 B/W and the -03 colour.
Yesterday i have seen it in an MP 2051SP (intermittent may be after power-on) and it is always SC672-11 not 12 or any other number.
Anyone encounter this code in this new KIR series.

I got the same problem on a 5503. I just ordered a controller and control panel. Sometimes my machine will come to ready but only the touch screen works, none of the hard keys work. So hopefully its the panel. Anybody got any other info on this. Thanks in advance
