Scan to email with Office 365

I am trying to get a new MP C3503 to scan to email with Office 365 without any luck. My biggest questio is, is it even possible? I have my port set to 587 which TLS needs. I'm under the impression that I need to import a certificate but I have no idea which one. Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on this for me?

Last I checked, Ricoh don't support TLS only SSL; the user documentation seems to support this.

Use mail.messaging.microsoft.com on port 25 with no authentication. Only down side is the customer will only be able to scan to addresses within their enterprise domain.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

        I'll try that. Thanks!

It didn't work. Going to set them up with G-mail.

Scan to their ISP's SMTP server. As it's traffic from one of their connections, they'll allow it to relay.

I would not try g-mail as they have recently changed the security on the certificates and our equiptment does not support 2048/3072 encryption at this time. I spent 2 hours trying to set up a customer and after calling support I was informed about this. This update was mandated by the NIST.

I appreciate the heads up on that. I was successful setting up Gmail, though. We'll see how long it lasts! Thanks, again, everyone for all the advice!

Since you are working with a new MP C3503, it might already have the support fot the newer certification requirements.
