[Misc] Reset the Photoconductor Unit, Aficio 270

Ricoh Aficio 270 displays "Reset Photoconductor Unit" after the 24v relay on PS board trips a three or more times. Each time it trips display changes to the subject error and fluctuates back when relay engages. already changed the power supply board but same problem exists. please fill me in with any experiences/solutions if any. thanx in advance....

The older Russian models had a 'hard' switch to detect the drum (and initialise developer). Check on the inside of the machine to see if this switch hasn't popped out or broken.
