    [Misc] RICOH aficio 2022

    Does photo conductor unit of Ricoh mp 3010 matched with machine Ricoh aficio 2022
    IF yes,
    our problem is we set photo-conductor unit of mp 3010 in Ricoh 2022 and worked well for 8000 copy after that the copy is become lighter,lighter etc.
    we doubt in opc (optical photo conductor).
    can you confirm our doubt.

      did you put developer it the new pcu?

          Photoconductor unit for the 3010 does not have the new unit flag to let the machine know that initialization has ran. Consequently, each time the machine is turned on or comes out of energy saver or sleep mode the machine initializes the TD sensor again. the result is a gradual undertoning and therefore light copies and prints. The 2022 requires a TYPE 1027 Photoconductor Unit.

              Yes it does work but you have to manually run dev initialization when you install it. (also I believe there are a couple of plastic pins that need to be removed to fit in the 2022 series)
              The mixing gears on the 3010 pcu eventually wear out and can cause the light undertoned copies you described.

                  I thank you but i want to tell you that the after lighter few copies,
                  the copies becomes darker and the developer gears are in a good case,
                  ok I will make developer initialization manually as you you say and then tell you.
