I would like to start this thread with tips and tricks, nice to know etc. to keep it all in "one" place.

I will start with this from my guide pages.

How to clear embedded @Remote settings

Clear the @Remote registration flag by
SP5816-209 -> Install Clear
SP5870-003 -> Initialize Common Key
SP5870-001 -> Writing New Common Key
when I need to reset it on a device, Please do not forget to power off/on after it.
If an older model is installed and does not have SP5816-209 (for example [Aficio 3025,
3030],[DSm725, DSm730] or [Aficio MP 2510, 3010],[MP 2510, 3010]) then how can it be reset
please?

If the device does not have SP5816-209 (when you want to clear all embedded @Remote
settings after Device has been removed from Customer), please perform SCS clear by SP5801-003.
Please do not forget to power off/on after it.

You properly already know this, but Ill post this anyway

B2242042 PCU can be used in MPC3300 - just swap the 2 rightmost pins in the connector, seen from the side where the small plastic-holder-thingy is.
