    Ricoh FT 7950 SC902

    We had a new customer call with this old dinosaur and no longer have the service manual for the 7950. Can anyone tell me what it is? We obviously need to sell him something newer, but let's try to help him, first, right?

                  Ricoh analogs were the worse for being a filthy running machine.

                  What dumb ass engineer would put an ID sensor under the DV unit?

                  Requires fuser oil that is messy @ best and the only toner and DV available is generic.

                  They do still sell copiers that just copy, but why waste the tech?

                  Time to review what they have in the office and consolidate space and service cost into 2 machines.
                  MFP to handle the bulk and a cheap laser fax for back up.
                  Why do they call it common sense?

                  If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
