There is two bridge unit modifed plastic guides that should have been fit to the exit guide plate before paper enters the bridge unit. Make sure these two guide plates are in position. There is a mylar guide on the exit of some bridge units before paper enters the finisher.Check the mylar guide is not twisted, bent or has a raised edge. The slightest edge can throw the paper skewed into the finisher.

Had this problem at a customer that had soft carpets on the floor.
The heavy copier sinks down on the soft carpet, and the lighter finisher sits higher so the paper path is not on the same level between bridge unit exit and finisher entrance.

Also make sure that the silver strip for static discharge at the end of the bridge unit is not blocking the paper path.

Have had similar height problems with copier and finisher. I removed the customer plastic floor strip from under their desk chair and used that to correct the height issue. It allows the finisher to move in out on the hard plastic surface.
