Hi, All. This may be a stupid question, but is there any way to run the machine (B140) with the cleaning web assembly removed or disabled?

Not that I know of. There are too many sensor and motor signals that come from the web unit for it to be missing. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Re: 2060 cleaning web
If you really had to, you could remove the web roll from the web unit and wire the end sensor arm back. You will quickly destroy the hot roller as the web applies a thin layer of silicon oil to the hot roller in addition to cleaning it. Zaxxon suggestion of winding the roll back some is a better idea. As both the supply and take up shafts are the same, you could try swapping the two shafts around and use the other side of the web.Comment

You can remove the web with no modification or sensor adj. I did it on an emergency basis for 2 days until I got a new replacement (the gears were stripped).Comment

That's good to know. I've had a couple bad motors as of late, and if you leave it in, it flat spots the orange roller.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment
