    Savin SMB Scanning

    I have a Savin 9033. It will not scan to folder. The communication is good and the communication test in the address book is successful. When a document is scanned it stays on processing for a long time then fails. I'm wondering if there is a ram issue or possible firmware. It was scanning fine a couple weeks ago. Any Ideas?

      I did a software hard reboot and it fixed the problem. Not sure that it will last.

          Depending on the OS it could be the permissions are set incorrectly. Make sure the user that the machine logs in with has full permissions under the sharing and the security tabs on the target computer.

              I just had the same issue with a Lanier. I found that the customer upgraded to windows 7 and the scan to folder stopped working. I installed the latest firmware and was able to scan to folder.
