Hi, fellow techies. Can anyone tell me the expected life of the drum in the w2400. I have searched the PSG and SM without finding an answer.

Best guess, the same life as the cleaning blade. So ideally that would be eleven thousand meters or thirty six thousand feet.
If you do have to replace the drum on a wide format machine, be absolutely certain you replace the correct drum cleaning blade as well, or you will have to replace the drum again in short order. It will be the least pleasant call back ever. Or at least it was for me. -

depends also how long the drum is in the machine, i've seen machines with barely 5k on it, but the drum was 3years old.
We do change them at 22K, but when you start to see background, thats the sign the drum has reached his lifetime.Comment
