[Error Code] Ricoh SP C231 needing a SC543 reset

I have a customer with a an SC543 code on an Ricoh SP C231 laser printer that has no keypad. Can anyone please help on how to get into the service mode to reset this service code?

I have had the suggestion to use the usual "Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" but as this printer has no keypad this solution does not work.

Any other ideas will be most welcome. Thanks in advance.

Printer Model
There is no LCD on the printer models. To execute the service program, execute the SOM (Smart
Organizing Monitor), which is provided with the printer driver, from your computer. For details, refer
to the "Smart Organizing Monitor (Printer Model)" section.

MF Model
There is an LCD on the MF models. To execute the service program, access the "Maintenance Mode
Menu" or "Fax Service Menu" with special key assignments. For details, refer to the "Service Menu
(MF Model)" section.

I cannot find either of these references in the manual that I have entitled 'M035/M036 SERVICE MANUAL'. The SP C231n is the M035 model and the manual says that the technician should ask his/her supervisor for the access code.

It is this access process that I require, whether it is a case of holding down some keys whilst powering up, or whatever. I just cannot understand why Ricoh should be so secretive about this.

Page 142 shows a screenshot of 'Fusing SC Reset' button.

access code may be same as admin details, no password?

You need to access a PC with the DRIVER on to access SOM on the printer version.

Printer models: Click "Fuser SC Reset" in SOM, and then turn the main power switch off and on.<---------------------------that's yours
