    [Misc] Ricoh 1022

What would cause poor fusing when paper is fed LEF. I've replace both rollers twice(wasn't sure if lower was replaced the 1st time; it was). Upper roller has residual toner on both ends and the lower is totally deformed. Tried a different fuser offsetting is still happening will have to check the press roller on next trip. SEF copying no problem. I increased fusing temp from 160 to 175 however the display is showing 189. Am I looking at a board problem???
    Thanks!!!

It is strange if you say that it's happening with 2 different fusers, but it's definitely not a board problem.
Are they both known working units?

Could be upper fuser housing cracked / broken where the rear bearing is retained?
    OEM toner?
    OEM rollers?

Is the green lever on the fusing unit in correct position (pointing up)?

make sure that residual toner isnt in fact developer coming from a overdue pcu. If two fusers had the same issue with rebuilt parts make sure you replaced the thermisters when you did the rollers.

This sounds like a good call. I've seen it a dozen times. The plastic extrusion at the bottom of the fuser housing breaks off because it's cheesy. It is the only thing that keeps the hot roller bearing from sliding out of position, which causes improper fusing and misfeed issues.
