    Ricoh 1515/Savin 3515 slight skew

looking at a Savin 3515- has 2 paper trays.

there is a slight skew on the pages if it is from the ADF or the glass. Printed up one of the service report options and that was slightly skewed also. So when you make a copy of the slight skew it gets skewed more.

(I don't believe the bypass was tried but both paper trays do the skew thing)

Would replacing that whole right side cover make a difference? we do have several in our shop...or maybe look at something else.

    thanks.

I would try a new registration clutch.

      I had this issue.
Pushing in on the side cover straightened out the image, so I tried replacing the whole side cover with no improvement, but i had swapped over the original transfer roller to the 'new' cover.
I ended up changing the transfer roller and that fixed it.
It was a pretty high copy count, so i think that there was a little uneven 'wear' on the transfer roller causing pages to skew slightly.
      Hope it helps.
