MPC 7501 fuser connector same as MPC7500

    Hi.

I had a customer smash the fuser unit in so hard it broke the rear connector. So I did not have a spare one but only a MPC 7500 one. Seemed the same and fitted. Then once all back together the machine said reset fuser unit and only when I put a mpc7500 or 6500 fuser unit in did it work.

Is there anything different with the connectors as they looked identical.

    Any input would be great.

    Thanks

    tim.

image.jpgthe only difference is the small black link wire on the connector block of the fuser, you need to move one wire up one notch. Just have a quick look at the 2 fusers, swap the wire position and your good to go.
