    mpc3003 fuser sc

we have a mpc3003 that had a paper jam in the fuse that caused sc544> On the mpc4502 etc you can reset this by a simple fuse
is this the same for the 3 type machine as we don't want to order a new fuser for no reason the copier is only a month old. If there is a fues what is the number cant seeit in the parts manual or on my ricoh

I also use the fuse from the 02 fuser sleeve units and SPC811 fusers.

got the code reset with the M026 type fuse but the connector is a different size. Had to make a cable up got caught out as the code wont reset( sc554 02) as the firmware has to be at least J on engine if its not the screen will lock up when you run SP810 02

5-810-1 resets those jams in fuser codes or it does on the one we have that jams in the fuser now and again.

Check my post above for the fuse part number.

On most machines that require a fuse to reset a service code or a supply counter, the fuse is usually a sub-amp fuse, ie less than 1 amp. If you can find the amperage rating and type of the fuse, I am sure you can find them on the internet somewhere. You will then have to come up with a way to connect them. Since Ricoh does include a fuse with the sleeve unit, which you usually don't need when doing a PM on the fusing unit, it is easier to just use it.

FYI:The fuse "sometimes"comes with the fusing sleeve.
We've had a few lately where we've begun a refurb and opened the new sleeve unit box only to find no fuse.
Rang support and were told that it's "a lucky dip at the moment"...sometimes you get a fuse and sometimes not...helpful much?
