    Print counter not working

I have a Ricoh 3235C that refuses to print the copy count. Any idea what board controls this function or what may have gone wrong?

    That's a weird one.
How does it behave? just "beep" and then do nothing when you press it?
Sounds like just some sort of software "glitch".
I'm assuming you've already tried power off/on the unit ?
Have you tried soft resetting it by holding the "./*" and "#" buttons together for about 12 seconds. Machine will beep (or maybe just click), release them, and it will reboot.
I'm not sure if "soft reset" is the right term for it, but it doesn't change any settings, it seems to be just one notch above the power switch
This has solved a few little "glitches" for me in the past - a 3245C in particular where I couldn't access "user tools"

I'll try this next time I'm at the machine. The machine doesn't beep or anything, just acts like it usually does except doesn't print the counter. And, yes, I've turned the power off and on (several times in fact) and at least I can get into User Tools. I'll be sure to update this thread after I've tried the soft reset.

Turns out it was a broken sensor flag for the internal tray full sensor. Copy count prints will only print to the internal tray so the machine waits for you to empty the internal tray before printing the count.

Have encountered this myself a number of times. Can't print counter, can't print service reports. I have a customer with a Pro 1357EX. The room has a low ceiling. I have to place my clipboard where it shades the proof tray in order to print counter and reports.
