[Misc] Terminal Server (RDP) + user code for redirected printer

    Hi everyone

We have a customer that uses a lot terminal server (RDP) and print on redirected printers f.ex: on Ricoh MP 201 SPF. But now they want to use user code (to print, copy, scan) to account the jobs of the employees. they don't have a printer server , so i've to install driver in every local PC , but when users login on TS the user code don't come in the redirected printer . i've tried to put manualy the user code on the redirected printer, it work but when users do a logoff and login again the code disppear . There's some solution for this? Thanks!Obrigado

Try downloading a new driver and customising it using the Print Driver Editor so that Pop ups are enabled for User Codes. (Full Instuctions are included with the download.) This will force a window to pop-up prompting the user to enter a user code each time they print.

Delete the original print queue from the host and delete the driver too. Customised drivers should not co-exist with standard drivers. Then create a new print queue on the host using the customised drivers.

i created customized driver using PRINTER DRIVER PACKAGER NX (the old Print Driver Editor) with pop up enabled. On the local machine works very well, but when i access by T.S , the redirected printer come without the pop up . I removed all ricoh drivers installed on local pc and the server too , and only install the customized driver , nevertheless the redirected printer doesn't come with the pop up to put the user code.
