    [Error Code] mpc 7501 sc569

    Hi all.

I have an mpc 7501 that gives sc569. What happens is when thw mc is switched on the fuser release motor drives then stops which is fine. Then a few moments later it continued to drive follwed by a clunking noise then sc 569. I have replaced home position sensor and releae motor but still the same issue. The workaround for now is to let the motor drive to pressue on and disconnect the motor. And also disable sc for fuser release sp1159.

    Next step vbcu??

    Any suggestions?

I have replaced MANY times the small metal gears, the small steel shaft and most importantly the bracket that contains a pressed in bush (which actually is the weakness area in this mechanism). The bush wears / comes loose and then the gears run on bad alignment and start badly wearing and chipping teeth etc. All of this is right behind the motor assy.

I did look at the gears. I qill have a closer look next time I visit. I manually rotated them and they seemed ok. Thanks for the tips

Do you have part numbers for these parts? shaft and bracket, gears as looking at the 3d manual its a bit tricky as to which parts to order, im not lazy...just not sure.

This is from the C7500 parts list, I'm not sure if its the same numbers for the c7501. Maybe someone else can confirm. Or see if the numbers are listed in the List you have.
