I don't work on MP9000s, so I don't know for sure. But the first thing I'd check is that the MP9000 actually can recognize the SR5000. After that, I'd make sure the wiring and the connector on the MP9000 were in good shape.

I also don't know the MP9000 and for this I'm afraid that missing something ...
I checked the wiring and replaced the connector but I haven't solved anything.
In many Forums I found others who had the same problem but there are no answers with the solution. Obviously it is a common problem of MP9000 but what is the solution?!
      Thanks

Well, until somebody who knows what is going on shows up, you might find this useful:

I think this might apply even if you don't have the Plokmatic, whatever that is.
For what it is worth, to me this is a better way to search the CTN archives than the default method, hope it can help:

OK, I'll take a stab at this. Wrong firmware, perhaps? If it has firmware for a different finisher, this would cause issues. Also, corrupt firmware.

What other accessories are on the machine? I had a fellow tech try to install two different finishers on one machine at the same time. Needless to say, neither showed up as an available accessory on the machine but it would pass paper though the entire paper path.

Ok, sr5000 works with mp9000, would check the pins in connector going into the copier.

Another non-9000 tech, but I'd check the HDD. I had a 1085 years ago that wouldn't see the finisher on an install. I switched the HDD connectors and then started getting the resettable HDD Sc, but I also had my finisher. Switched them back and lost the finisher again.
