    smeared copies (MPC 3002)

Guys, have you encountered a problem wherein the image is smeared in the first job. After continous copying/printing, the output is fine. According to the user, the problem occurs only after replacing the black toner. But the toner is purchased in our company and is not duplicate. Do you think it toner issue? I checked the fusing section and it is good. The total reading of the machine is around 250K. I attached the sample image for you review.

    Thanks!2014-03-02_21-54-30_443.jpg

I've seen it in a MPC3000. Is was the idle gear in the fusing section (AB01 4278).
Also make sure the roller oil is in good condition.

Unfortunately seen this one a few times, the grease inside the hot roller sleeve has gone thick and gunky and doesn't revolve at correct speed for the first few copies. This causes the paper to get a large buckle and smear the unfused toner on the fuser feed in guide. Comes good as the fuser heats up. Mostly seen on low volume copiers which stand idle for hours on end.
At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.

Agree with above, probably up for a new fuser, also you should make sure all firmware up to date, and note that there are a number of bulletins regarding this problem - with many sp values to be changed etc.
