    [Misc] MP 2550

Hi all, I have this MP 2550 with a really noisy PSU cooling fan I visited the m/c yesterday removed the fan & greased behind the cover, its quieter now but when I checked the parts manual & Tessa for bulletins it appears as if the fan cant be bought separately yet it unscrews & disconnects easily, am I missing something?. Any info appreciated, thanks.

Not sure about that, but it's just a standard muffin fan isn't it? So it's available at almost any electronics store, or maybe just lying around your shop -just match the airflow direction marked on the fan, and the same (or lower) amperage, and swap over the connector if necessary

In my copy of the Parts Catalog, the power supply fan is shown in Electrical Section 3, Item Number 27. The part number is AX640179.

Thanks Slimslob, just checked the manual again and items only reach 26 then jump to 101 for fuses & screws etc, tried your part no & it gave me the fan, thanks again.

Your manual is out of date, you should get the one that I have on my site at www.justmanuals.com

Just changed one out the other day (3 so far this year alone).
Do a Google search for 2406GL-05W-B59
