For scan SMB, with win7 try with driver Win XP64. That's work
With Win8 you must upgrade network firmware because microsoft add a new version protocol smb3.

If Ricoh doesn't publish a new firmware "you must" scan to email but not to folder

None of those old models support smb scanning, firmware won't help that.

For TWAIN scanning on 64 bit Windows, use the 32 bit driver with a 32 bit application or a 64 bit application ran in 32 bit compatibility mode. Those models that do have 64 bit drivers listed, it is the same driver as the 32 bit (version number, size, and rfg number). For SMB, I have heard that Win 8.1 has an update that allows you to turn off the feature that block older SMB equipment scanning to folder.
