      Re: Firmware update fail

      [Symptom]
The "E32" and "E44" error codes are displayed.
When several softwares are installed in a same time, the "E32" and "E44" error codes may be displayed which will not turn off even if the SD card is removed and the power is turned off and on, and the system will not be ready for use.
      [Cause]
A firmware transmission error may occur when installing several types of firmware simultaneously. Since the error data is saved to the NVRAM, the machine is unable to boot up normally, even after the main switch is turned Off/On.

How to cancel the errors: 1) Press "143" using the number keys while the error code is displayed. 2) Press the "CLEAR" key 3 times. 3) The system will beep 3 times and the error display will disappear.
To ensure the above error codes do not occur, please be sure to follow the procedure below whenever installing several kinds of firmware at the same time: 1. First, install the ??System?? firmware only. 2. After successfully installing the ??System?? firmware, turn the machine main power Off/On and confirm that the machine boots up to Ready status normally. 3. Install the remaining firmware simultaneously.

It is a long shot, but I would try and disconnect the Hard Drive, then boot it up. If you can get into service mode, perform a sp5832-002 Hard Drive clear IMH with the HDD disconnected. Then reboot again with HDD connected. I have had this fix some. If you still are stuck in Please Wait with HDD disconnected....Controller board is toast!

Does the machine have a VM card installed. If so, did you stop the VM before removing the VM card. If not, the controller was probably toast as soon as you turned the machine back on with the VM card removed.

Check that a sd card is not write protected.

Do what he said but take everything out that isn't necessary. Fax board, Addon cards, RAM Module, etc...... otherwise controller you might want to think about an NVRAM while your at it
