Ricoh SP C221sf How to Enter Service Mode

    Hi!.

I have a Ricoh sp C221SF for my personal use but for a while I can not copy or print in color and do not know how to enter the service mode to adjust colors. I tried in the same way that other models (Clear 107 and Clear / Stop) but does not respond.

If someone could help me and tell which is the key sequence to enter would be very grateful.

First, since you do not know the proper sequence for entering Maintenance Mode, I will assume that you do not have a service manual manual. You will need one to do any adjustments.

Second, were you ever able to copy and print in color?

"Color degradation may occur in color printing after the machine is moved or a large number of pages are printed. In this case, adjust color registration by executing [Color Regist.] in [Machine Settings]"

      that's from the User Manual.

For this model you need software loaded on laptop for service. Resetting a fusing code is same way. Have to go through the software and there are some areas that require a password too. Btw this password is not in the manuals but I believe it did finally make it to Goose Guide.

This would be true if he has a printer only version. Since he talks about not being able to copy in color it is most likely the MF version.
