    Color Machine Toner Pump?

Does anyone know if the toner pumps on a C4500 are the same as a C4000. I know the part #s are different but they still could possibly be the same. Thanks in advance.

If I have my model numbers and part numbers correct, the D0293202 is not a suitable sub for B2233202, and vice versa.

Not even close. C4000/C5000, think C2800/C3300. Whole different Toner Pump.

The clutches are completely different sizes between the pumps, they don't even pretend to fit.

I even tried to swap clutches the plastic mold is very different no way to do it.
            Even the 4502 is different.
I do know that B2233255 black works is another color and B2233254 works in two colors.
You only have to carry these two to fix all colors.
Very easy to swap out pull the image transfer unit and drums and you have two screws and one connector and a hose to switch over.

Good idea as far as reducing what you have to carry, but what if the hose is bad?

Black toner pump has longest hose use that one and cut it down to match bad hose being replaced I have three of them never had to use.
I guess its plausible to have a bad hose you will have many extra you don't use.
I've had to trim a hose that was to loose for my liking but never had to replace one.

I NEVER replace the hose, I only

1 pull the defective pump out.
2 take the respective toner out
3 vaccum the hose through the toner hopper thing. Put a finger on the hose where the pump should be connected to fell the suction.
                  4 install new pump.
5 wait for machine to tone up, often more than one go for this to succeed.
6 remember to close ALL covers!!

                  Fit for fight again
